Dubai Tech Experience is a delegation programme operated by Ghani Events (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms govern your use of this website and your participation in the delegation we organise around GITEX GLOBAL 2026.

By browsing this site, submitting an application or joining the delegation, you agree to these terms. If you are applying on behalf of a company, fund, accelerator or institution, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that organisation, and “you” means both you and that organisation.

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance. Package pages describe what a track includes, not what it costs, and we publish no prices: every engagement begins with an application and is confirmed in a separate written agreement.

Applications are submitted through the forms on this site. Submitting one does not reserve a place, create a contract or oblige us to accept you. We review every application and may accept, decline or defer it at our discretion, including where a track is full or where we judge that another track is a better fit.

You agree that the information you give us is accurate and complete, and that you will tell us if it changes. We may ask for supporting information before confirming a place.

A place is confirmed only when we say so in writing and any fees due under your agreement have been settled in line with that agreement.

What your package includes is set out on the relevant page of this site and, definitively, in your written proposal or participation agreement. Where the two differ, the written agreement governs.

Several elements of every package are supplied by third parties rather than by us — among them exhibition space and delegate badges provided by the event organiser, the venue itself, accommodation, ground transport, and any cultural or hospitality programme run by a local operator. We select and coordinate these, but we do not control them, and they are subject to the supplier’s own terms.

Counts of curated meetings describe the meetings we will arrange and support, not outcomes. We introduce people; we cannot promise how a meeting goes or that a counterparty will attend, invest, partner or follow up.

No prices are published on this website and no payment is taken through it. Fees for a confirmed place are set out in your written proposal or invoice, together with the payment schedule and what each instalment covers.

Unless your agreement says otherwise: fees are quoted exclusive of taxes and duties; you are responsible for any bank charges or currency conversion costs; and your place is not held until the first payment falls due and is received.

Costs that are not expressly listed as included remain yours — typically international flights, visas, travel insurance, meals outside the programme, and anything you arrange directly with a supplier.

If you need to cancel a confirmed place, tell us in writing at [email protected]. The date we receive your written notice is the date used to work out what refund applies.

Needs confirmation. This refund schedule is the one recovered from the old site, where it appeared in a single FAQ answer on the Investor Package page and nowhere else. It is published here because that FAQ was its only home, but the client should confirm it applies to every track — startup, investor, ecosystem partner and sponsorship — and whether third-party costs already committed on your behalf are excluded from it, before this document goes live.

Where we have already paid a third party on your behalf and that payment is non-refundable to us — exhibition space, badges or accommodation booked to your name, for example — we may deduct that cost from any refund due. We will tell you the amount and what it covers.

You may ask to transfer a confirmed place to a colleague at the same organisation. We will normally agree, subject to the replacement delegate meeting the same criteria and to any third-party charge for re-issuing badges or documents.

The delegation is built around GITEX GLOBAL 2026, 7–11 December 2026, at Expo City Dubai. That event is organised by a third party. If the organiser changes its dates, venue, format or programme, we will adapt the delegation around the change and tell you what it means for your package as soon as we can.

We may make reasonable changes to the delegation programme — substituting a speaker, venue, activity or supplier of comparable standard — where circumstances require it.

Neither of us is liable for a failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control, including the cancellation or postponement of the underlying event, government or regulatory action, visa refusal by an authority, travel restrictions, industrial action, natural events, or a public health emergency. If the delegation cannot go ahead for such a reason, we will set out the options available to you, which may include a credit toward the following edition or a refund of amounts we can recover from suppliers.

You are responsible for your own travel documents. That includes a passport valid for the period required for entry to Dubai, UAE, any visa or entry permit, and any health requirements in force at the time you travel. We can point you at the right process and provide supporting documentation where we are able to, but we cannot obtain a visa for you and we are not responsible if one is refused or delayed.

You must hold travel insurance appropriate to the trip, covering at least medical treatment and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, and your equipment and belongings. We recommend you arrange it when your place is confirmed rather than close to departure.

You are responsible for complying with the laws and customs of the United Arab Emirates while you are there, and with the rules of the venue and the event organiser.

The delegation only works because people can meet, pitch and talk candidly. We expect every delegate, sponsor, partner and guest to behave professionally and with respect toward everyone they meet — other delegates, our team, suppliers, venue staff and the people they are introduced to.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, misrepresentation of who you are or what your organisation does, and conduct that damages the delegation’s standing with partners or authorities are not acceptable. Nor is using contacts introduced through the programme for unsolicited bulk marketing.

Where conduct is serious enough to warrant it, we may remove a person from part or all of the programme without refund, and may decline future applications. We will act proportionately and, where circumstances allow, we will raise the issue with you first.

We are an events and delegation business. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, placement agent or fundraising agent, we are not regulated as any of those, and nothing we publish, say or arrange is investment, legal, tax or immigration advice.

Introductions made through the delegation are exactly that. We do not verify, endorse or underwrite any startup, fund, investor, partner or opportunity you meet through us, and we take no part in and no fee from any transaction that follows. Any diligence is yours to do, and any agreement you reach is between you and the other party.

Case studies, statistics and outcomes described elsewhere on this site are illustrative of what the programme has involved. They are not a forecast, and no funding, partnership, media coverage, commercial result or return is promised.

You may use this site to learn about the delegation and to apply to join it. You may not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it or to any system connected to it, scrape it systematically, or use it to send unsolicited communications.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. Where a page is marked as provisional or awaiting confirmation, treat it as such.

The content of this site — text, layout, graphics, photography, video and the DTE and Dubai Tech Experience names and marks — belongs to us or to our licensors. You may read, share and link to it. You may not republish it commercially, or use our marks, without our written permission.

Material you send us as part of an application or the programme, including your logo, company description and pitch materials, stays yours. By sending it you allow us to use it for the purpose you sent it for: assessing your application, preparing introductions, and — where it is material you have given us for that purpose — listing you in delegation materials.

We photograph and film the delegation, and the event organiser and accredited media do the same at the venue. By attending, you agree that we may use images and recordings in which you appear to report on and promote the programme. If you would rather not appear, tell us in writing before the event and we will do our best to accommodate you in material we control.

This site links to and embeds services we do not operate, including our application forms, our scheduling links and the event organiser’s own pages. Using them means accepting the provider’s terms, and their handling of your information is covered by our Privacy Policy and by their own.

A link is not an endorsement of the linked organisation, and we are not responsible for the content or availability of any site we do not control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data or goodwill, however it arises. Our total liability in connection with the delegation is limited to the fees you have actually paid us for the participation the claim relates to.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your conduct during the programme, or your infringement of another person’s rights — including any claim brought by a third party in connection with material you supplied to us.

If something goes wrong, contact us first at [email protected]. Most issues are resolved faster that way than through a formal process, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.

Needs confirmation. The governing law and the forum for disputes are deliberately left blank. Ghani Events is a US-based business selling participation in an event held in the UAE, which makes this a question for counsel rather than for us: the reviewed version should name the state whose law applies, the courts or arbitral forum that has jurisdiction, and whether any pre-action mediation step is required.

We may update these terms — most immediately when the reviewed version replaces this draft. The version published on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site. Where a change materially affects a confirmed place, we will tell the affected delegates directly rather than relying on this page.
